What problems happen in Skyrim, and how to fix them. What problems happen in Skyrim, and how to fix them Skyrim sound problems

The famous saga Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which was recently released in versions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation VR, is a very interesting toy, but also very large-scale, and all sorts of different things happen not only in it, but also with it. This post is about what problems there are in Skyrim and how to fix them.

Namely, we’ll talk about the glitches of the Motion Controls and Amiibo systems, problems with sound, how to reassign control buttons and other useful little things that will definitely come in handy if you took it seriously.

To begin with, as usual...

Skyrim general problems

#1. Russian language support

On Switch, Skyrim speaks strictly English by default. However, for European countries the developer has already released special localization packages, which are downloaded separately. But completely automatically and free. That is, upon installation, the game checks the selected system language and then offers you to download the Russification package from the eShop website. By the way, in addition to English and Russian, French, Italian, German, and Spanish are also provided.

#2. how much free memory is required to install Skyrim on Nintendo Switch

According to the technical specification, for installation Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim The game console requires at least 14.5GB of internal system memory. And the game takes up 14.3GB on the card. Therefore, if you have a card, then you will only have to load 0.2GB onto the console.

problems with the Motion Controls system in Skyrim

#1 – can’t land a strong left punch

There is information that the character freezes when the player tries to deliver a strong left blow (a stronger swing with the left controller) from a position on horseback.

How to fix : you need to dismount (i.e. get off your horse) - this is if in the game. Then exit the toy and download update 1.1, in which this glitch (i.e. when the rider deals a strong left blow) has already been fixed.

#2 - the character freezes when trying to land a strong right blow

How to fix : To complete an attack, press (on the right joy-con). This glitch was also fixed in update 1.1.

#3: left strikes are not registered

More precisely, the “chopping” movements up and down with the left controller are not registered.

How to fix : Try sideways movements instead of up and down strokes. The glitch has been fixed in update 1.1.

#4 – I can’t hit with a bow (Bow Bash) with my left hand

To simply strike with a bow with your left hand, you need to press ZL button. The glitch has been fixed in update 1.1.

#5 – the sight of a bow (or crossbow) constantly slides down

This usually happens just before the shot, when the arrow (or bolt) is already loaded.

How to fix: option A) disable motion control for a while and use the controller buttons; option B) place the joycons on a table (or any other stable horizontal surface) for a few seconds, they will automatically calibrate and the problem will be resolved.

Skyrim problems with Amiibo

#1 – Master Sword and Hylian Shield are not displayed correctly

How to fix : Put them in a chest or closet. The problem has been fixed in update 1.1.

#2 – Can’t get item from Amiibo (various)

How to fix : Each Amiibo can be used no more than once a day (24 real, not in-game hours), when you try to scan the figure again, the game will display a sign and remind you that you need to wait.

#3 - nothing happens when I try to use the Amiibo Power

How to fix : Move the character, there is simply not enough space for the runes and chest.

#4 - Champion's Tunic does not provide any bonus perks

Light armor, a light Elven helmet and a Champion's Tunic are equipped, but there are no bonuses from them in the game - the Wind Walker, Matching Set, Custom Fit and Deft Movement perks are not are working.

How to fix : Place different pieces of light armor in the slots for the torso, arms and legs.

Skyrim sound problems

#1 – after quickly moving the character, the volume in the game “jumps”

How to fix : Try loading a previous save. The problem has been fixed in update 1.1.

Skyrim for Nintendo Switch - How to Remap Buttons

The game provides the ability to change the actions of the control buttons. To do this, go to “Settings”, open “Management” and then reassign the buttons at your discretion...

To be continued. Stay tuned.

Attention!!!
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SUCH BUGS IN THE GAME, THEN THERE IS NO POINT INSTALLING THIS FIX!!! You need to install it when you have such bugs in the game in the form of the “T” pose, in particular after removing some mod this happens

Description:
Many players have encountered such a problem in the game as “freezing” NPCs or creatures in the so-called “T” pose, this is when the NPC or creature lost animation, arms to the sides, no action, it just looked like a moving mannequin, this error occurs in In particular, after removing any mods, problems have nothing to do with animation files or scripts, and can arise after removing or reinstalling mods that change leveled lists of opponents. FNIS won't help either, because... The bug is registered in the save and cleaning the saves too. For example, it has been proven that after removing mods such as Skyrim Monster Mod, Skyrim Immersive Creatures, High-Level Enemies and many other mods, animals or creatures pretended to be lifeless mannequins and ran, or rather floated above the ground in the shape of the letter “T” and there was a feeling like as if they are rushing towards you with open arms. Simply put, the animation simply “stuck”, “froze” and the creatures were in the “T” pose, as for NPC people, the same problem occurs with them, they also move in the “T” pose, not only that, the head is missing and become naked. This fix "Animation Reanimator" will fix everything!

Update: 1.6
- The level of aggressiveness of the characters will be restored to the values that were before the characters’ T poses were reset

Update:1.5
- Undead have been removed from the exceptions again, now the fix also applies to them
- The T pose correction process has been completely redesigned
- There is now less chance of side effects such as NPCs not being able to attack

Update: 1.4
- Summoned Daedra will no longer be affected by this fix (it turns out there are no problems with them)
- Draugr and skeletons have been added to the exceptions, previous versions of the fix tried to “fix” these “creatures” and the situation only got worse (all the undead in the coffins stood in “T” poses)

Update: 1.3
- Added extended conditions that correct problems for children and companions, because many modders who make mods often do not mark their NPCs/companions as “unique” in Creation Kit

Update:1.2
- Now the mechanics/system for correcting "T" poses will be temporarily disabled in the quest cutscenes themselves, for example when you get to Helgen or when traveling to Solstheim, and will not be activated during these scenes, so as not to disrupt the game
- The author reminds that using this fix from the beginning of the game (when you start a new playthrough of the game) is a very, very stupid idea; you need to install this fix only when you actually have NPCs or creatures in the game taking “T” poses!

More details:
- This fix is not a change to mesh or animation files
- This utility uses a script to reset a frozen NPC or creature and revive it and bring them back to life
- Technically, each NPC or creature is processed only once (NPCs and creatures processed by this fix will no longer be frozen)
- This fix is intended as a temporary solution. "T" poses for creatures and NPCs should disappear after a while, you can remove the mod after 31 game days
- The fix only works with NPCs and creatures, it will not correct your player’s “T” pose

How to fix the "T" pose of an NPC or creature without using this fix:
1) you can try to wait 31 days in the game, in the interior (no guarantee)
2) you can also correct the "T" pose manually via the console
- Go to the “T” standing NPC, open the console ~ and click on this character with the mouse
- Enter "disable" (without quotes)
- Close the console and wait a few seconds
- Open the console and enter "enable"

How to fix your character's "T" pose:
- Make the camera from the 3rd person, open the console ~ and click on your character with the mouse
- Enter "setrace" or "resetreference" (without quotes)
- This method is from the author of the mod

Requirements:
- No

Compatibility:
- With all mods

Installation:
Place the Data folder in the game folder (Data is not inside Data, but on top), confirm merging folders and files and activate in the launcher

How to remove a fix:
- Go into the room, save the game and delete the fix

On a note:
Please note, this mod will significantly reduce the risk of "broken" animations, but the author makes no promises that it will work 100% of the time with all "T" shaped characters. Therefore, if you encounter a “frozen” character in a “T” pose in the game, please use the correction method via the console (description above)
